Terms of Use

Platform use and responsibility

By creating an account or using Masters Running Analytics, you understand and agree that this app provides training guidance only. You are responsible for your training decisions and should seek qualified clinical help if you are in doubt about your health or an injury.

1. Training guidance only

Masters Running Analytics provides training load analysis, recovery signals, and planning support for runners. The platform is a wellness and training-guidance product. It does not replace qualified clinical care or provide emergency monitoring. Using this platform does not create a coach–athlete, clinician–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and Masters Running Analytics.

2. Your responsibility and assumption of risk

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to follow any guidance or recommendation surfaced by the platform. You acknowledge that running and other athletic activities carry inherent and significant risks, including the risk of bodily injury, and you voluntarily assume those risks — including risks that may arise from guidance provided by this platform. If you experience pain, symptoms, or health concerns, reduce training and consult a qualified professional. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this platform.

3. No guarantees

The platform surfaces risk signals and training observations based on your connected data. It does not guarantee injury-free training. Risk signals are probabilistic and are based on conservative, research-informed models derived from published sports science — not clinically validated algorithms. The academic literature has not yet produced a single validated, age-specific injury prediction model; our thresholds synthesise multiple evidence streams.

4. Integration availability

Connected integrations such as Strava, Garmin, and Striv can fail, drift, or become stale. The platform exposes source status where possible, but uninterrupted third-party data access is not guaranteed. Changes to third-party APIs may affect the availability of certain features without notice. Garmin in particular is currently connected through a temporary session-based app flow while the official Garmin Connect Developer Program path is prepared.

5. Limitation of liability

Masters Running Analytics is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Masters Running Analytics is not liable for any consequential, indirect, special, or incidental loss or injury arising from your use of the platform or from relying on guidance it surfaces — even where foreseeable. Where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

6. Account controls and data

You may disconnect integrations or delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes all associated activity, health, and analytics records from the platform, in line with the Privacy Notice. Export, access, correction, and portability requests currently follow the contact path described in the privacy notice rather than a self-serve export screen. You are responsible for using connected integrations in accordance with the terms of the relevant third-party platform.

7. Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of digital majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email.
